...the sheep I don't mind. Its the trolls on here who try and sow their own self-interested commentary on these threads that are complete fictions against prevailing mkt prices, what other posters actually said, or even the company said.

Remember some of the laughable calls on here in 2022/23 about interest rate rises continuing to 10%+ and wiping out ZIP.

As ZIP wisely shows ignorant investors and trolls who don't get that it is in the net interest rate margin game, it doesn;t matter if interest rates go up (providing it keeps a lid on arrears and bad debts). Its the most basic fundamental premise of financial credit businesses that they can make wider net margins in rising interest rate environments (providing again the bed debts kept in check):

I don't reckon I will get opportunity to get back in ZIP under $1. Hope I don't for other investors benefits, but quite happy to extoll the virtues of the business anyway, amongst the share price, shorting, interest rate scaremongering that dominates of late.

I have genuinely been very surprised how well ZIP has kept bad debts and arrears in check - possibly at the expense of recent falling user numbers - and I don't know why one of the, now less regular, trolls was talking about when he said bad debts in ANZ were at an all time high. One might expect they would be as consumer household buffers wear thing in the face of as said some $1,200 (after the additional November raise) in extra monthly interest rates on a typical $500K aussie mortgage.
