Despite the data, US futures are in the green. Hopefully the US Tech NasDaq will recover all its past week’s losses this evening.
- Gross domestic product, a broad measure of goods and services produced in the January-March period, rose at a 1.6% annualised pace, below the 2.4% estimate.
- The price index for personal consumption expenditure rose at an annualised rate of 3.4% in the quarter.
- Consumer spending rose 2.5% in the period, down from a 3.3% gain in the fourth quarter and below Wall Street's 3% estimate.
