What the blazes? The law (Responsible Lending) says that if you have a $20,000 credit card, your suitability for a loan is assessed upon the limit, regardless of whether you have used it or not. BNPL limits go into credit assessment and affordability in the same way.Vast numbers of people cancel credit cards and BNPL limits every day to improve their affordability. What does morality have to do with it?
