The shorts were betting on sub $1. As I said, they needed at least 5% to get there, but were unable to hold on as global markets rallied and investors realised that Zip's balance sheet and profitability were improving. Yesterday the shorts lost $1 billion thanks to Roaring Kitty's post. The shorts have nowhere to go but to hell. Burn shorters burn.
