My take is that Andy Stearns is a seasoned industry veteran of the cards system, which ZIP aspires to, but no longer is able to throw a lot of money at. He was appointed by Mr Diamond before Ms Scott was brought in as CEO, she has slashed costs and his former salary will be a cost saving. IMO
