Great post mate, I would think this would be fairly common sense though. Unfortunately common sense is something that appears to be lacking in this forum. Honestly, how dense does someone have to be to think it makes any sense to analyse performance in any way other than on a PCP basis? It's like comparing January sales to December sales for a toy shop. Even someone with the most basic of business knowledge would know this is a useless comparison, you must compare to the prior corresponding period for an accurate assessment.
Obviously rates falling will have a tremendously positive impact for ZIP as well, anyone trying to deny that needs to get their head checked.
The fact you are needing to explain these things to several of the posters here is rather alarming. Either it points to an incredibly inadequate educational system or these posters are deliberately trying to produce misinformation.
