He has to spell it out far more clearly. He keeps repeating we are data dependent, and the market thinks if the data comes in lower on one piece of economic data, it means a rate cut soon after.
It will need multiple data readings to come in lower than expected before a rate cut happens and that could be Sep-Dec if we're lucky.
We rallied on 6 rate cut promises from Oct/Nov last year and got none so far lol
