If the 'yellow peril ' wants to pay $200 for each BHP share i own they can have them ,hell i'll sell them to the devil himself for that offer.
But its more than a mere speed hump if you think ASIC or ACCC or the Government or the Australian public will let it happen.
I remember back in the late 80' when the japanese were buying up everything with their overvalued yen and some high ranking official was asked if the Northern Territory was for sale what would you do? and his simple answer was how much?
