I think the petrol / oil price rises have slipped under the radar a little bit. I haven't been hearing any general commentary on this from "the man on the street" yet. It's touched the low $1.30c hear a couple of times in the last 2 months. I think it will need to start getting around $1.50 before people start to notice and complain.
It's looking like it will be a very interesting year.
