Having read up on it recently, that is not my understanding of the mandatory notification requirements. You can't have friendly alternates buying for you and not notify. You certainly can't buy as an individual if your company is also buying without notifying. If your affiliated it's the same thing. Otherwise no one would ever have to notify and the entire company could be taken over under the radar using a web of associates.
