@Sharpey Thanks for the clarification. I did not want to suggest LPD was producing lithium metal, and it is important that you clarify the point for forum readers. Actually, this is a complex technical discussion (which is difficult for me to express in a short post), but you have tackled it very well.

I think there is one thing we can be clear about: Producers of higher grades of lithium have more opportunity as technology evolves, and commencement of production should be seen (in part) as a way of funding further research. LPD's strategy to develop a vertically integrated business should be an important differentiator.
