Hi All,
I have been to two meetings in Brisbane this week where the Chairman called for a POLL. The Renumeration reports were voted against and in one case as much as 49% so the chairman called for a Poll to try to negate the against votes. They were carried on the Poll vote from the floor so the vote against the report stands.
When any company has two strikes against their Renumeration Report their is a spill of the Board, only the CEO remains & then nominations are called for to elect a new board of directors.
It is important for those that have sent in their Proxy votes to withdraw them on registration so that you can participate in the Poll vote.
Remember the choice is yours. As a shareholder you need to have your say.
