OK, not strictly Automotive, but nearly.
I have run about 6 lts of 50:1 through my brushcutter [Off ebay, cheap import]. I'll admit I never looked at the book, just assumed. I wanted to change to a steel blade and found a mixing bottle with the blades which came with it which is nearly a 25:1 ratio. Naturally it blows more smoke than I think is necessary and oil ain't cheap and I'm using good quality stuff, not sump oil.
Can anyone comment on whether it is safe to stick with 50:1? I reckon that with good oil it would be.
