Flu has a vaccine. Corona has no vaccine.
US deaths per year from the flu is 30,000.
US corona deaths expected to be over 200,000 by October.

Corona deaths are only calculated from hospitals. They think the real figure is more than double what it is.

Corona is highly contagious and the ones that have had it are finding their bodies are not the same.
7 news last night had Perth scientists with the worlds only machine to test how the ones that have had it are going to go long
term with increase of other diseases like heart failure and cancer. They have teamed up with Cambridge University in the UK where
they will send data to Perth to get analysed.

They have only tested a few percent of the population. Its the over 94% they do not know about.

Its why its called a pandemic. Something that happens very rarely. Last big one was the Spanish flu which killed over 50 million people world wide before it was over.

This time round they closed borders down where in 1918 after WW1 and no means of communication between countries like it is today which saw it slowly spread across the world. The Spanish flu is thought to have started in the US when troops entered the war late and then spread. Dr's in Spain saw it as a pandemic and why it was called the Spanish flu.

So share markets around the globe will be up and down for a long while before they break free.
Might well take decades to recover.
