So....2 weeks from today we get a decision on PE (I'm assuming a quick decision and a formality so won't need 2 or 3 days).
Far will receive 35% of 640M barrels for roughly $2/barrel and can swiftly on sell this for $6/barrel netting $896M or $1.28B AUD.
Far SP increases by 20c to 26.5c with further value to be realised as financing is solved & $10/barrel achievable at FID plus future Gambia drills & MSGB deals.
WPL get a refund cheque from COP (who in turn get same money from FAR) and are left to argue the toss about the 100's of millions they have invested since.
HotCopper website sees 50% less activity as endless PE speculation and theories cease and Far holders cancel accounts and mostly retire.
Is this what will happen in a fortnight and should I be writing my resignation letter in advance?
