Regarding a possible bridging loan:
Does anyone really think that there is not a bank in the world that would be prepared to lend 320M at 7% for three months with a guarantee that the Powerco funds from QIC will repay the loan in full by March 2009?
Seems like an easy $5.6M profit for a bank for a 3 month bridging loan, doesn't it?
But ABN Amro's overpaid analyst thinks there is too much risk in that and all the other 5 options. Give me a break. ABN must have an ulterior motive for a SELL call.
