To set the record straight, PB did not lend shares to CS nor did he, deliberately and willingly, lend shares to UBS.
However, UBS manipulated his borrowing relationship and used the shares to short the stock with PB virtually powerless to stop it.
As a result, PB ended the relationship with UBS so they could no longer do such.
If PB had intentionally lent his shares to short the stock, why didn't he buy the farm when it went to a 0.50 to 1.0 range?
As PB has not sold a single share to date, nor has he loaded up on stock at opportunistic levels created by the shorting, where is the motive to have his shares shorted?
His net worth gets affected the same way everyone elses does when the stock gets shorted and to think PB deliberately lent his shares to have his company's shares shorted for no personal gain is ludicrous.
If you think he had the company shorted with his shares so his friends could buy cheap is just as ludicrous.
