Well I am a (retired) scientist and I can tell you you are correct. I did some serious evaporation this morning when I made my coffee. Just heat the water
On a more serious note, it makes complete sense for AGY to scale up the test-tube chemistry and do some bathtub chemistry. This would entail turbo-charging the evaporation of a 100 (or so) litres of brine by heating it and then making absolutely sure the various chemical and refining processes to get battery grade lithium carbonate (LCE) work without a hitch when everything is scaled up. By the time AGY demonstrates that the process works (by about March 2018) they should have rehearsed it many times over. DYOR IMO!!
