Hi Fishy, good to see you.
There are a few new faces around here though.
Two of the biggest trading days in 12 months on Thursday & Friday. From memory, I think 85M shares broke the record since IPO, the previous biggest trading day was only 65M shares when the Smart Spend Card was first announced.
$20B in unclaimed VAT every year & this only has a MC of $10M.

Clientele has increased, GTV keeps climbing & there's been growth in cash receipts since IPO.
Sometimes, stock prices don't move in the same direction as the company does.

Hi GKatt, it's a great question. Your guess is as good as mine, the ASX is a funny place.
My thoughts? First off, Global Macro, interest rates & cost of living affect the speculative market & the stock market just in general.
In saying that, when I look around on the ASX I see companies that have never turned a profit with a MC in the hundreds of millions. AKP is one, it's never produced a marketable product in 20 years on the ASX or pulled in any significant revenue, but it has a MC of $200M. WBT is another AI stock with a MC of $700M.
BRN (which I haven't followed very closely) hasn't turned a profit in years & just recorded a half-yearly loss of $17M, but it has a MC of $650M.
Above are just a few examples, but I know there are many more on the ASX. Why the above have a MC in the hundreds of millions & W2V only has a MC of $10M is beyond me!!
The previous T20 dumped this on IPO, so it's taken a while to recover. It appears Amos has gathered a loyal T20 following this time around. I've noticed a T20 holder called "Ice Cold Investments" in Thorney is also in W2V as well. So hopefully, Thorney's pulling power can draw in other investors. Thorney supported W2V before it was listed on the ASX.
Below is from the last Quarterly.
Below is the website for Thorney.

I think the ASX needs to wake up to what W2V could look like in just a few short years. What is a fintech company worth with AI technology? Judging by the examples at the start of my post, a lot more than $10M is my guess.

The launch of the new AI-driven product has had some great feedback from clients so far.
Below is the new product line.

This is a fintech company with AI technology. VAT reclaim is an ever-changing market, so to stay ahead of the competition W2V has to develop new tools & tech to keep the clientele satisfied they're getting value for money.
There's also the Smart Spend Card, but the company has released little detail about this product since its launch. It has rolled out & there are a few mentions here & there in the Quarterly's. Perhaps it may take off at some point, I don't know.

The global VAT market is huge & right now W2V is focused on B2B (business to business) so far, but perhaps at some point, as W2V grows, it could enter the tourism market. It may never happen, but who knows. All I know is if I were a tourist in a foreign country (I have been many times) I know I would want a "tourist version" of the Smart Spend Card to claim back VAT on any particular items that are claimable. But that's just me, I understand what it's like to stand in an airport line for hours just to claim a few bucks back on some items I bought.
I think there's been other small improvements to the W2V platform itself over the years which have received small mentions in the Annual Reports etc.

I think the market is looking to close that gap at 1.4 cents. Then, let's see what happens.
Also, BW Equities completed some research on W2V a little while ago. It's under the "Explanatory Note" in the below link.

Yeah, it looks to be a tightly held registry this time around with the current T20.
No Regal or the previous T20 to dump their shares, they're all gone.
No underwriter to dump their shares.
With the amount of SOI that's changed hands recently, I'm surprised there hasn't been a "change in substantial holding" ann.
Below is the current T20.
Thorney is at number 1, their website is below.
Thorney
T20 holds 60% of the SOI, which just leaves a few hundred million shares for everyone else to buy.
Good luck!
