The way I understand it, that app is for SMB or enterprise clients to upload their invoices to the W2V platform so they can reclaim VAT on valid business expenses, on the go, in real-time. The W2V platform checks the receipt for any errors & claimable items then automatically submits it to government authorities. That system won't check for any unpaid invoices, it just checks the receipt you uploaded before it's submitted.
The new "AI-AP compliance" is a general auditing tool that can be used in the accounts payable department. Instead of outsourcing the work to third parties, which can be expensive, time consuming & leaves the process open to errors, this new tool can run compliance checks for W2V customers & will generate a report for the department.
Do you know the saying "AI wants your job"?? Well, there it is above in black & white, AI is coming for your job in the accounts payable department.
