Interesting...this is my 1st T/O situation.
The reasons I can see for volume buying/selling are:
1) RMS - are accumulating more at a discounted rate compared to the $0.15c offer rate.
2) Competitor - Accumulating to purchase more RMS shares at a discount (need to see if who the institutional buyers are)
3) Competitive Bidder - accumulate at a discounted rate before the make a counter offer
In all 3 scenarios it is within the parties interest to drive the price down so as long as there are sellers someone with deep pockets.
For smaller retail buyers, it's a simple 10%-15% discount with minimal risks as long as they don't mind being part of RMS.
