Just a thought based on the last two posts...
If the 20m man wanted to offload a considerable number above 5, then he could invoke a little hysteria by putting up his 20m bid with a view to having (retail) queue jumpers (refer trickyd's post)constantly move above him without risking too much of his "buy" capital. If the market perceives this queue jumping to be the start of a run, then he could offload his real holdings well above the 5 mark.
Like I said...just a thought, although it could be a risky strategy.

Maybe I should stop thinking...here's another one. Someone suggested that it could be directors buying in. Wouldn't that mean that they would need to allow at least two weeks before any announcement, and wouldn't they need to notify if it was them buying??

Think I'll go back to my real job now.
