A few hard facts though amongst the obvious bias. I however think Rudd would have been a bigger liability going into an election. The simple fact that Abbott is seriously being considered as the next PM by so many speaks volumes about how on the nose labor is atm. I thought and have said well before it happened that replacing Rudd with Gillard would be the master stroke that gives the government a guaranteed 2nd term. I still think it will play out that way but it looks far from guaranteed now
