The end of the Jewish system came in 70 AD, when General Titus destroyed Jerusalem. Thats what the early Christians were preaching and warning about. There was huge loss of life and 1,000’s were enslaved. The true Christians heeded Jesus warning to get out of the city and so they fled to the mountainous region of Pella and their lives were saved. If you go to Rome today you can touch the Arch of Titus. A reminder of that significant event.
