You know what's puzzling about that animation? It showed the cost of producing algae oil being directly proportional to the sale price of crude. It showed both prices changing together in direct relationship. How does that even start to make sense? Both have totally and partially unrelated factors. It's not like the only (or even a particularly large) cost of algae oil production is crude oil purchase price.
