An interesting article from October 2014 about the helicopter/super-yacht combination development. The jetpack would cost a fraction of a conventional rotary wing aircraft, both at point of purchase and in running costs. Also, jetpacks run on regular petrol versus avgas (Jet-A, Jet-B, JP-4) required for modern turbine powered helicopters. Another advantage would be less dangerous approach/departure angles, due to the lack of long rotary blades.
