I have owned CTP shares for many years, I have heard the optimistic chatter from the various CEO's etc. There was always one or two things that they would focus on each year. we would wait while they planned a drill with our partners and then before you know it 6 to 9 months had passed and no tangible benefits or results. This is the way CSP has seemed to go for the last 15 or so years that I have held their shares.

We rarely had the money to do anything without our partners who directed what we could do and when. Santos has practically held us, hostage, while we wait for them to tell us what we can do and when and how much it would cost us. When I look at CTP today I see:
    - McCormack and Kantslar joining the board
    - Santos still has enough belief in Dukas to spend millions to redrill, yes it is a year and a half away but its still a huge move
    - possible reserve increases from Mareenie and Palm Valley
    - Potential in Ranger
    - Potential in Orange-3
    - Potential in Dingo Deep
    - the possibility of an east coast pipeline running past our front door at a time the government needs to build infrastructure
    - Zevon a Dukas like zone that is even potentially even bigger and wholely owned (at the moment) by CTP
    - while we hand over more of Dukas to Santos, I seem to recall we get to use the rig on our Zevon.
    - Lower debit
    - $20M+ in the bank
    - interest rates low
    - still earning a good income from existing gas contracts helped out by the NT pipeline being built just a year or so ago so we don't have ship gas by trucks any more.
    - We have a partner is Macq who really doesn't want to be the part-owner of a small oil and gas field. and while they want top dollar now, sooner or later they are likely to see CTP is probably the only one likely to want to buy them. But would do so on our terms, not theirs.
    - potential gas shortage in the next year or two.

I see a lot of positives with CTP. while the price is low I believe that CTP is in the best position it has ever been in. it has options and ability to move forward in a number of different directions by itself or with new partners.
