....Another limited doze of (distorted) transparency on development of the Tantalum Egypt's project to recover raw tantalum from Abu Diab Valley in the Eastern Desert was released. Project's Executive Director, Mr. John Stewart, was quoted in the media indicating that total project costs are $ 250 million and that he still has hopes to arrange a $ 200 million loan during the next 6 months. Project is a 50/ 50 joint venture between the Egyptian Authority for Mineral Wealth & Gypsland of Australia. Negotiations on the project started in 2007. It is planned to be located at Metoubas, in Kafr El Sheikh Governorate.....
