    Ironically, my investment property sale settled on 24/03/2020, exactly a day after the market bottomed. I was also not quick enough to deploy significant licks of capital with the proceeds, though whatever moves I made did well because almost everything is up - often hugely so - since then.

    I have no borrowings against my investments - it is all grown with cold hard savings. Not buying one or both of SYD and AIA is one of my missteps during the Covid crash (I got too greedy for an even cheaper entry). I am an ex-holder of RHC - sold it because of near non-existent growth - I am a growth-oriented investor. I have it on the watch list of course if the market gods offer an irresistible entry down the line.

    I am also a direct investor in the US, and I hold several high growth names that have appreciated enormously in the past year and a bit. Unfortunately, many of them are nowhere as profitable as CSL, so they can't be considered on par from a risk management standpoint.
