My CBA, AAX and WDC were all picked up,
I made two apps as i had IPO stock in both on a SRN as well as further purchases on my HIN so they can pick it up, they will onlly let you have up to the max so if you applied for 5K on each you would get it but 15K on each and they scale back. That is law, i am sure that some getthrough but that would not be the norm
i had a residual WDC amount on srn which i failed to move and i thought i would be smart and put in 2 apps but failed.
Scale back also can be based on size of holding see GNC and AAX as eg so it might not be smart to split also added paperwork seems a lot of work.
in all my years i have not seen any broker recommend splitting holdings
