I know MCO has a cult like following and that is a worry when you love a stock.
In my experience, all gold company management come into question sooner or later. Sure they have done well so far. Hats off. But they are so early in the stage of getting a mine up and running.
I can't see them getting the capital they need to get the mine up and running any time soon. That's why I sold.
Having a director holding 25% of MCO leaves a SPP out of the question. So they will probably look for a larger investor to finance them. However with only a market cap of $17 million, it will probably be a small raising. Not enough to do any significant project.
I'm not sure how long the timeframes some think it is to go from a explorer to a significant producer.
However, all this doesn't mean the share price can't appreciate of course.
