I was just curious if the $50 per month that Conroy had quoted was based on the $43 Billion NBN over 8 years, or if there was some other reason he had quoted $50 per month.
I don't know how he can quote a retail price this early in the planning stage. It would seem more wishful thinking that $50 per month was going to be the retail cost per month.
If Telstra are charging $269 per month for there current 100Mb Broadband and Conroy has quoted $50 per month. Then it would seem more likely that the actual retail cost would be somewhere in between the two figures. It would seem unlikely that it could work at only $50 per month.
