Another figure on Iraq 'plucked out of the air'. The most reliable figure I have seen is 100,000. And by far the biggest majority of those were killed by their fellow Iraqis not by foreigners. What does that say about the fanatics that inhabit this part of the world?

You obviously don't know much American history as there have been some poor performers, and in my lifeteime one called Richard Nixon comes readily to mind.
His response to Katrina was very poor but then response of all those in a position of responsibilty was very poor. And yes I agree he has to take some responsibilty for the current economic recession, but the real blame lies with all those exceedingly greedy CEO's who accepted their grossly inflated salary packages without accepting the responsibilty that goes with it.
