Maybe the comment of Gunns being more bank friendly is to do with the fact that Gunns is a ASX listed public company with access to debt and equity markets ?
PPPLs financial position..capacity etc is less known.

I also think Gunns is the favourite in this race, but this race is one in which the winner needs to be clear cut.

Lets hope it is..
