Agree WT - interesting and instable period. What I have found frustrating through all of this, including with other companies, is all this fluctuation based on analyst estimates - who are these analysts that are giving opinions. As far as I'm concerned a company should be based on its performance against its estimates, not on analyst guesstimates.
RIO outperformed, while marginally, their estimate, and who better to estimate than themselves as they know the internal pressures and functions of their business.
Just my thoughts.
