the orig question was about how it felt pre 1987. The over riding impression i had then was of people concentrating on stock prices and not much else - like FA or TA. You would go to a meeting and half would be checking the Australian for the stock prices. Now, I know that everybody now checks the prices on the pc, but I don't have the impression that FA and TA have died in hotcopper. When it does and the "toot toot all aboard" crowd take over, well i reckon it's curtains.
