Hi Octain re your queries regarding Centro Oakleigh and Warringal
Centro Oakleigh is part of Centro MCS syndicate 12 (of which I am an investor) and Centro the Responsible Entity (RE) for managing property for investors. Centro's refurbishment work at Oakleigh commenced in August 2007 and was completed in October 2008. Major tennants may have done some work themslves at other times.
Cenro Warringal was part of MCS syndicate 14 (of which I was an investor till 2008, got out thank goodness), . Work on the refurbishment was about the same time as syndicate 12. However this is now irrelevant as Centro sold the Warringal property in Sept this year to reduce property LVRs (all proceeds went into debt reduction). so goodbye Warringal.Any recent work, may have been getting property up tp speed pre sale. Pity it was a good property, but as with some of their other MCS properties, it would seem the best are the ones that MCS are often unloading.
