Well, now I have something to question the sceptics about. Here I was thinking the sceptics believed that reduced sunspot activity was associated with a cooler Earth, like the Maunder Minimum and the Little Ice Age, then along comes Hanrahan arguing that a quiet Sun makes things warmer. Would someone care to explain this, or do sceptics take the apparent contradiction as an article of faith?
