I'm posting as a relative newcomer to HC and trading.
What companies are considered to be the leaders in the next rally/charge in 2009? A lot of the more experienced posters have talked about this but none have been rather specific.
I am thinking:
Incitec Pivot Ltd (IPL) - Crops need fertilizer and IPL is knocking on the door of $2.00
BHP - It seems to be range trading under $32 for now, but after a possible fall from Jan 21 due to unexpected poor production numbers, I think BHP will rally simply because of its size on the ASX and its on every second person's mind.
LEI - Largest construction conglomerate in Australia, perhaps in the world, and we are in the largest domestic and international fiscal policy season the world has seen for some time.
Some retailers, perhaps at a later date (JB Hi-Fi and Billabong).
Any comments, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. I'd also like to hear from the more experienced posters too. You know who you are?
