Fair enough, supporting evidence for my statement. From the announcement:
Funds raised from both the Placement and SPP, will enable the Company to expand and progress its strategic projects, including, the acceleration of our 3D product portfolio from development to commercialisation.
“Today’s placement of additional funding by high value investors will enable us to fast-track the expansion of our product range and drive future growth in revenue and market share.” Paterson concluded.
As for available cash, adding up cash balance (2.7), debtors (3.8), and remaining facility balance (5.0) there was $11.5m as at the last quarterly. Based on what we know this looks adequate: forecast revenue $34m, with just under $7m in the first quarter, leaving a bit over $27m expected for the remaining 3 quarters; outflow is a bit over $11m per quarter, $35m for the remaining 3 quarters. Net cashflow therefore -$8m, giving us a $3.5m buffer. I haven't seen anything from the company to say operational expenses were not able to be covered and a reason for the raise.
