It seems that more and more respected analysts are advocating that gold is now becoming a defacto global currency in light of the fear surrounding the inflating US dollar. In fact I don't think I need to refer to respected analysts in making that comment.......I think "Blind Freddie" can see what's is comming over the next few years.
It is critical for the Phillips River Project that Gold (its main resource) remains in strong demand through the BFS stage, development and early production stages. Once it is up and running the broader base metal markets will be in play for long term sustainability....not discounting the value added by copper credits during the early phase.
I think between now and the end of the year we will see a hint of where the gold price is headed.
From here I think I can confidently predict (not that my predictions have much credibility) that we will not see TTRs share price at current levels for much longer. If you are positive on gold you have to be positive on gold stocks with pending Bankable gold reserves. And there is now so much upside leverage with the junior miners/explorers. Not withstanding my previous post about the lack of funds available for speculation (because the glut of capital raisings have seen to that) the SP price can move up significantly on low volumes if the groundswell of a fundamental belief in a strong gold /weak US dollar grows.
As an Aside -
Anyone been keeping an eye on ATWs Burnakurra project....now mothballed......their share price has collapsed. Well done Steve for first of all selling off the project and secondly divesting the aquired ATV shares before the plunge.
Secondly what about SLR shares which TTR still hold. Over $1.10 so Steve has got this right also with TTR getting good value out of the Tuckabiana sale.
