Sandy sp is riding on Defenders back for the time being.

Had this weeks announcement regarding Defender been "excellent oil shows",all the past promises would have been forgiven and forgotten and the backslapping would have continued into the new year.

Chief Terry is still the man as far as I'm concerned.

1.He managed to bring the company back from the brink of death.


2.He managed to flog Chesapeake an "unproven" parcel of land for $73million.That alone is a massive achievment within itself.


3.He managed to talk big giant Haliburton into a farm in agreement and in return recieve a FREE test well,with a second optional.
That on it's own is a $4 to $5 million saving per/well.


4.He has managed a deal with The Fort Peck Indians in securing the rights to the Roosevelt project.
Which is a massive deal in my opinion,probably one of his biggest achievments.
This was achieved against all odds I might add.

5.He has succeeded in producing oil in the Baaken.


6.He has managed to "pay off all debt".
How many debt free junior oil explorers do you know of?


7.He has managed to flog uneconimical gas assets.


8.He is drilling 5 new wells as we speak


9.All of the obove was achieved "within 2yrs",......yes within 2yrs.



As for everything else..........that's the oil game.........highly speculative in nature.
