2011 annual report disclosure and now

As per page 8 of 2011 annual report (lodged on 28102011) - look at third paragraph from bottom of page. It clearly says

Remuneration incentives
Director's remuneration is not linked to either short term or long term incentives. The board feels that expiry date and exercise price of options issued to directors in current and prior years are sufficient to align the goals of the directors and executives with those of shareholders To maximize shareholder wealth.


So why the change of heart - must have some inkling of the pot of gold to change the incentive package otherwise why incur the wrath of shareholders.
