I'm really not sure and it may be neither, but i guess that is the reason it is flying so far below the radar at present. Roches next move will be the game changer though.

Both no doubt provide tremendous up-side from this level - i guess the first will provide much greater return to those with a long term outlook, while the later will provide significant return in the "now"......

I guess another point to bring up here is looking historically at these type of transactions aquisitions do generally occur after completion of a succesful partnership when the cost of aquiring the business provides more value to the predator in the longer term than paying the associated milesstone & royalty payments dragged out over many years. But a significant portion of future earnings from the technology need to be taken into account with any take-over hence the large sums paid over the past few years.
