good afternoon Red Forkers, trust everyone has had a great xmas new years period?

While waiting for the 2012 trading year to commence, went back over every announcement for the year in detail, imho things are starting to ramp up beautifully.

At the start of the year RFE had $4 million cash on hand, 8000 acres in the ML play, low gas prices for our largest asset at the time and an SP of 43c.

As of 31/12/11, cash on hand is now over $30 million, acres have increased to 60000+ in the ML play with the first 2 wells showing excellent results, 2 well respected brokers on board, a cornerstone investor in the form of Quantum Fund, and an SP of 84c, an increase of 95.3% for the year even with dilution of over 100%.

Additionally, Sandridge not only created the Mississippian Trust but have also entered into large JV agreements with Atinum and Repsol that will more than likely have a profound effect on RFE in the form of JVs in operated and non operated JV wells.

Both of Sandridges new JV partners are looking at a large number of wells for the year.
We can also consider operated/non operated JV wells with large private companies like the one recently announced with Crow Creek Energy.

While gas prices have not been favourable, our gas assets are nowhere near our largest asset now, so a negative at the start of the year has been pushed into the background.

Providing general markets hold up, i am genuinely excited about RFEs future.
12 months ago i was excited but didnt really know how things were going to proceed for the year, well, imho management have well and truly turned RFE around.

In the year of the dragon, lets hope RFEs momentum from 2011 continues on.
