Yes the GST should have been set at 15% on EVERYTHING including food etc.

And ALL other state taxes should have been abolished.

There should be 3 and only 3 transparent taxes in Australia.

Company tax

GST

Income tax

ALL other taxes including capital gains tax, stamp duties, petrol tax, wine equalisation tax, tobacco tax, you name it, ALL should go.
