thanks.
yes it is a good video - particularly if you are a holder. Normally, I would take a promo like that with a grain of salt - however, if one gets past the music and the emotion - there are some very good points there.
The battles are always won before going on the field - and what the video tells us is that we have been preparing for 3 years - 3 years of getting the tech. right - which I like - because there is nothing worse than speculative technology ------- a prototype or still in design or development - and then trials to get done etc. -- normally for holders it is like pulling teeth and certainly drains the wallet.
In Alexium's case ---------- a lot of it ------------------- 'market ready' is done and dusted - including testing.
Indeed the results are so good that field trials are in place - not to see 'if' it works - but, 'how' to incorporate it into production lines.
Then the video talks about finding where it sits in the market - very important and if done well, crucial.
Then, imo the concentration on the legislative area ------------------- well, IF you can swing legislation in your favour -------------- well, if you have the protected technology AND per chance if you are one of the few players in the field - or heaven forbid, the ONLY player -
well, would it be ramping to say - it just doesn't get any better than that?
As to if they can have legislative success ----------------- well, one can only go on what the company has actually done - not what it says it can do -- and, the runs are on the board so far.
They have succeeded in getting as far as I can see the biggest legislative change in the FR military clothing game through - ever - at least since the Berry amendment came in.
And, the Berry amendment extensions were not granted from here on in - one assumes that is also due in part to the presence of Alexium.
The Wilson written HR 4435 - really is a big deal - and once and for all imo, proves that the company has got the goods ------------ you cannot, in any way possible - fluke something like that --------- it had to be designed, it had to be crafted and it had to be expertly executed to be successful ------------- and it has been.
One can only speculate on what the company is working on legislatively for commercial use - but, one thing is crystal clear - they didn't fluke Washington - they knew their way around, they had and have contacts - now, whether that can be extended to commercial rather than for military purpose - who knows - but, one would have to say the odds have shortened dramatically.
Assuming that the military contracts come through - and it is almost certain they will soon - for the historical yardage --------------- plus we know there will be at least 'some' extension - then Alexium is in for a big big year 2015.
If it gets anywhere near the full extension ----------- which they are now starting to talk up with confidence - then it isn't just going to be a big year - it is going to be a bonanza year.
If they get 'anywhere' near the success in the commercial field - let alone progress on the commercial legislation - on which they now have track record ---------- well, form your own opinion - that has stars written all over it.
Personally, I can't see it going as far as the latter -------- the plan initially was to sell out to a big company - and the time frame was probably about next year or the year after max.
timing wise as far as I can see - it is right on - so, it will come down to price and, most likely come down to what the Chairman had as an idea in the first place.
Initially I thought that might have been a very solid figure - but, not completely pie in the sky - however, if all the military work comes in as hoped - then the figure will be solid - very very solid - but, if commercial legislation comes in - then, I really don't know where this can go.
When you have companies who have been searching for a solution like we have for decades and putting 10's of (at least) millions of dollars and failing - and then Alexium comes up with a perfect fit --------------------------- AND gets legislative change as well - well, 1. the carrot is massive and 2. the bargaining power is strongly in the Alexium court.
On top of that - writing a cheque for several billion is not that difficult for some of these HUGE companies - particularly if they know they have certain strong revenues for years - protected by patent and legislation ----------------- for 'their' money - it just doesn't get any better.
I know this is going north - I just don't know how far.
have a great day
