I have only been following the stock market for a couple of years and thus far I have only fallen in love with two stocks - LNG in May 2013 and AJX in November 2014. For me, the attraction is that they are a researcher's dream.
I love researching things and getting a broader picture of how different aspects of things work - whether it's a company, an industry, a concept, whatever and AJX gives rewards as each aspect I look at shows a diligent, focused, goal-driven method that is thorough, whether it is product safety or marketing or business management. Just as importantly, the company also happens to have the right product at the right time, both politically and commercially. All the brilliance in the world would mean nothing if there was no opportunity to use it.
The US dept of Defense uses dozens of contractors to make combat clothing. Some such as Propper International https://www.propper.com/mens/fr-acu-coat.html are big businesses, while others are small businesses specialising in short custom contracts. http://archive.wewear.org/UserFiles/File/CommitteeRosters/GovernmentContractsCommittee(gc).pdf
Those contractors buy their licensed materials through Duro, who AJX are now in contract with as a supplier. The soldiers buy the clothing online through commercial military uniform contractors (such as the Propper site above) or the U.S. General Services Administration website https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/s/search.do?q=0:0gs-07f-0250w Duro has fallen out with previous combat clothing supplier, Crye Precision and soldiers are complaining in chat rooms that they can't get enough clothes. So Duro are in a position to need a new supplier and Alexium are in a position to fill that niche with a tested product that meets new Fire Retardant Safety Initiatives.
Despite their recent fall out, where Crye has filed a copyright complaint against Duro for having a camo pattern too similar to their licensed one, Crye Precision do have a lot of experience and are very innovative themselves, so Alexium might seem like a good option for them to partner with as a licensee or buy out their FRACU tech at a future date. Either way, there are plenty of experienced contractors out there and in recent years Alexium staff and management have been learning their way around the Military Clothing system and liasing with contractors and potential contractors, including Propper International.
I'm so excited about this stock and I really hope that people with just a little capital to invest hear of it and get the chance to turn their finances around.
Thank you to others on here whose research and enthusiasm has prompted me to do my own. I hope the price stays this low at least for a few more months so we can stock up now that Christmas is over. Cheers
