Having a quick look at only the current featured clients on Velpics home page, and doing a run through of the numbers of employees, Current employees of those listed is 45,000 employees Australia wide (and that's only a quick add up and doesn't include all recently added new clients). Where the potential lies is the worldwide market and the exposure the Australian branches can deliver if firstly successful here
Take for instance
Alcoa - 4600 employees in Australia, 60,000 worldwide
Laing O,Rourke - 4000 in Australia, 12,000 worldwide
Fugro - 500 in Australia , 13,500 worldwide
Olam 500 in Australia, 25,000 worldwide
Now, as a conservative estimate, let's say $100 is spent annually on each of these employees for training , using this service only. ( I'm only using this as a guide as it's an easier number to multiply as I lie here in bed without a pen and paper, and will use 50000 employees as my guestimate so as to include companies not listed). So straight up, we have a rough number of $5 million of annual revenue. Additionally, I would be expecting this client base to grow rapidly . Looking at the numbers worldwide, that potentially is a whole new ballgame, especially when just looking at the numbers above as a guide. Initial exposure from the Australian subsidiaries is the key yet I would assume many of these corporations once realising the upside of delivering training this way would incorporate it worldwide. Here's hoping so anyway.
