This is very significant IMO. Even though it is a long way from a controlling percentage that is a lot of potential voting power which could affect the future decisions made by the GXY board. I don't mind if it is simply a tether for investment or to lock in deals of future supply, which would overall be positive but 1% outright going to a subsidiary of a directly competing company... possibly the same one who bought a huge stake in the Mt Marion mine operations recently... Warrants some more research.
Honestly it is leaning my vote in favour of the share dilution just to keep more of the control with the management and less with GFL.
